  1. could you imagine rogan having terence and dennis in the same show and throw jordan peterson in there with duncan trussel and a bunch of others and have a 4 hour podcast and let them all talk. holy shit! alan watts too. Man i wish these guys were alive. At least terence and dennis in the same show would be great

  2. I have no doubt that Dennis has some profound knowledge and has indeed expanded his mind on many subjects, but his understanding of religion is a low-resolution representation. He sounds like an ex-Protestant who was raised with a simple faith based on not asking questions, rather than the Christian tradition which is dogma combined with personal experience and revelation – the Christian traditions does see man as intimately within the animal kingdom and part of the living universe, it does see experience as deeply meaningful and the mystery of the universe as a journey to experience and discover. It seems to me, as a Christian, that a drug experience like what Dennis is talking about would be a good idea for most people, and the stories and spiritual experiences that are behind the experience just suggest that man is a religious animal and that religion was onto something. So it is odd when he just pushes traditional religions aside when he could easily look into the first 400 years of Christianity where men lived inside trees in an ascetic lifestyle, did breathing techniques to have trips and used to pray and fast to force the universe to reveal itself to our body…sounds a lot like what Dennis would be into and he seems so blind to the vast amount of experience and knowledge behind certain faiths and religions.

  3. "The only people that doubt it, are those that haven't experienced it" This is the exact same logic people use to defend religion, or fine wines, love, drugs. The ego will always by out of reach, when we nearly grasp it, its slips to new heights and perception.

  5. Give me indistinguishable virtual reality mmorpg where I can make volcanoes erupt. I want to fly a dragon and mix ice spells with its fire breathe in the upper atmosphere to create massive storms. I want to see an earth user make a massive fortress from just the ground. I want to have epic anime 1v1 duels where I can shoot laser beams out of my hands and eyes. I want to become lightning and fly threw the clouds. There are so many things that are just blatantly impossible in this reality. Don't you want to have wings and fly, don't you want to turn into an incorporeal shadowy essence and move through solid objects? I 100% do.

  6. one of my favorite guests, along with graham hancock/randall carlson/robert shoch/john anthony west and so on. i always watch this podcast when there's some form of science involved, although i will say i'd love to see more musicians on. james hetfield and billy corgan were great podcasts as well.

  7. Joe "I totally agree… we need to do more hallucigenc so we can really tap into the interrelatedness of all life. Speaking of, have I defended hunting on this episode yet?" Rogan

  8. …….when people are so objective in their field of expertise and are meticulous in their research, but then see that they carelessly contract out their research on politics to NPR or some narrow minded biased source. Palm to face. How are people so smart and so intelligent in one area but so naive and illogical in others. This was a great interview until they started talking about Trump and throwing out their personal subjective opinions of him. Joe was pretty objective about Trump but Dennis Mckenna made me want to plug my ears and turn off the episode. Not because I'm a big fan of trump but I can't stand anytime someone bashes someone else from false premises or based solely on scewed social perspective.

  9. but what if dmt is a technology that allows the user to look back through the evolution of life and recieve messages from entities that would benefit the gene pool/ all life that has evolved on earth

  10. To Rogan and Dennis especially, I think if you are going to continue supporting the use of psychedelics you must also fund research into treatment for HPPD. I used to take psychedelics and believe they were an important mind expander in my life that nurtured creativity and passion; I cannot deny the positive experiences I had but HPPD is for many people a debilitating side effect that causes depression and anxiety in 1 out of every 2 sufferers. In the psychedelic and to an extent the scientific community you are respected and have the power to motivate and source funding for research; please consider the adverse effects before relentlessly pushing for widespread usage.

  11. I doubt anyone sees this. But if youโ€™re out there wise internet persons, I beg of you, where can I get Dennisโ€™s shirt. Any help would be appreciated. Glhf

  12. Please please please!!!!! Have Dennis on with Hamilton Morris!!! Not just to have a debate on "drugs", but to also give both sides of the psychedelic aspect of plants…I GUARANTEE that it would be you highest downloaded/watched episode EVER!!!!!

Hello. My name might not be too important, I'm only 32 years old. I would like to say good work on bringing this to light in the context of your videos on self exploration..I myself had an NDE 14 years ago and relate the expierence itself to a psychedelic expierence as they both go hand and hand. Along with the pineal gland Secretion of Melatonin and circadiac rythms which in turn over a (period) of time Produces (DMT) as I might term it (Dimensional) (Message) (Transporter)…with everything your talking about in your context of videos and yourself…(it's True Enough!) Every answer seems to fit! Also in the sense with my said expierence, I pulled as much information out as I could and have more to share. Center is key to expierence itself as shown actual size. I could break this down in a mathematical example as in..
I have been writing about this said example in depth and find it something to work from not just from me but others as well. Everything is coded information for unconditional understanding of self as it is expanding in ALL directions with a forward motion of the felt expression of exsistence, here and now. If i might quote'… Control has many faces and artist are among it's most faithful servants to speak of this is not to speak about art, but only about the persuasion tactics of art, it's effects and the transformations it causes in the reciever. Thank you for the opportunity to post.. Remeber centered information for expansion of understanding this expierence on the subject matter at hand. One is all, all is one. Alpha and omega. Mirrorstate elevation. Feel free to be just that, FREE! Thank you. I think therefore I am. Take care and at God's Speed!

  14. think you have pycosis which is cool and just a stage .think you my may still be in the caterpillar stage witch is cute you'll get there. see you when you get hear xx

  15. Hi Joe, I noticed you talking a lot about simulation theory… You should consider asking physicist Tom Campbell to appear on your show. He just successfully raised nearly $250K to fund a set of experiments (variations on the double-slit) to test his theory that we do in fact live in a simulation.

  16. About decriminalizing all drugs in Canada (from a Canadian) – There are discussions about decriminalizing all drugs much like Portugal did in the early 2000's. But I don't think we will see it happen soon. Maybe one day. For now, PM Trudeau has said publicly that it is not in his government's plan to go with it. Maybe in a second term, who knows. I think it is a good idea even though I do not take anything else than weed. Peace to all !
