What It’s Really Like to Fight for the Islamic State

VICE News has obtained footage taken from the headcam of an Islamic State (IS) fighter who died in March while battling Kurdish peshmerga troops in northern Iraq. The clash took place about 30 miles north of Mosul.

Unlike IS propaganda, which often presents sweeping battlefield victories, the video shows chaos, panic, and the fighters retreating.

VICE News shows the grim reality of an IS foot soldier.

  1. if this is the state that ISIS is in i am amazed they still exist,if you gave a bunch of collage students some scar-h's and grenades they would have held the line and killed all the bastards in this video

  2. I like how americants commenting on how they suck at fighting it's like american are so good at fighting ,thats why they lost veitnam, Iraq and Afghanistan because the most powerful military in the world with its allies couldn't win against a bunch of people with no body armour and with Ak47 ,I'm not a supporter of isis but at least they have some balls to fight in the battle failed unlike the retarded redneck scumbags who decide to use air bombing and drones to kill children, the United States army is only good in movies but in reality they suck ass

  3. As a bleeding heart lefty, I hope all these men get all their limbs blown off and turned into a paraplegic, then live to old age in constant excruciating pain and misery.

  4. The one guy that went all out reminds me of Medal of Honor European Assault when you could activate “adrenaline mode” and you could run 🏃 toward the enemy killing them all without dying for a short period of time.
