Protests in Ferguson, Missouri have turned violent for the fifth night in a row, with police firing smoke bombs and tear gas at demonstrators.
The Ukrainian government continued firing shells at the rebel stronghold of Donetsk in the country’s east.
Anti-government marches in Pakistan kicked off Thursday, when opposition leader Imran Khan and Cleric Tahi-Ul-Qadri led thousands from Lahore to Islamabad.
Thai security forces raided an in vitro fertility clinic in Bangkok on Thursday. It’s part of a crackdown on illegal surrogate parenting.
